Ich habe mir mal kurz Bildchen der 2018er Komfortsitzbank und der 2021er Komfortsitzbank gesucht.
Der Tankanschluss ist ganz anders.

This is a very bad news.
I am looking for Yamaha Tracer 700 2016 lower seat and there is no OEM part.
On the other hand, Tracer 700 2020 lowered seat is:

Did anyone ever tried to put any Tracer 700 2020 or Tracer 7 seat on older Tracer 700 2016-2019?

The new seat does not fit!
Compatibility either 2016 - 2019 or 2020 -...
Its a complete different design.
So you have to lower the original seat. Which is in deed the best way.

Indeed seat does not fit:
A super-kind staff from http://www.wkmoto-shop.de has put the seat on an old Tracer to test it, and it turns out seat hits tank in front of it and cannot be mounted correctly.

Lowering the original seat would be shaving off some foam below the cover?
How much can be achieved that way, while still not sitting on the plastic? 10 - 20mm ?

I would go to a saddler to build it up with a complete new better foam.
