I have finished my first chain slack adjustment today. As described in owner's manual, I have tried to set something between 30 and 35mm between the end of drive chain guard and a middle of chain. It ended like this:

Before, it seems it was a bit too loose.
I also tried to align the rear wheel using Laser Chain Alignment Tool, and at some point I got laser to hit the same part of the chain all the way up to the front:

Unfortunately, "aligned" rear wheel resulted in messed up chain tension marks:

The left one reads ~1.5 "big lines", while the right one is at ~1.0.
Should these mechanical marks or laser tool be trusted better?
